44TH

So today is honestly one of the biggest day in American History. Whether you are black or white or other you have to admit that you never thought you see this day and that it wont be anything this big for a long time. Obama has officially put himself in the same class as

Jackie Robinson
Ray Robinson
Muhammad Ali
Michael Jackson
Wilt Chamberlain
Tiger Woods
The first Black to play Hockey and Quarter Back (Was that Warren Moon????)

These are all people that regardless of color changed the game and society's view. Many people are worried about assassination attempts...but I beg to differ....

See the best thing for any extremist to do would be let him live and "mess up the country" like they think he will so that we "dont let another nigger in the white house" Besides black is killing more black than police.

As I woke up this morning and seen the footage of all the people rallying and standing outside in anticipation for today's event Im thinking do we only have 4-8 years of this? When Obama leaves the white house will that STOP all the unity and positivity and rallying behind one individual for the greater good? Be real...we should have this attitude no matter who is in office, but I am glad to see that change happening with just the idea of our president being on color.

Dont get it twisted...Im not all for JUST black presidents...Im down to see a Native American, Asian and a Hispanic one. Lets rally behind them too! Because like it or not minorities built this whole country that Christopher Columbus stumbled on centuries ago and WE ALL have made it better with our differences.

Let's keep this new feeling of hope and change going. Take it to school, work, board meetings, community service EVERYWHERE! Since we have a reason to believe in a president...lets start believing in ourselves and each other.
